Frequently Asked Questions

What subjects do you cover in tutoring?

We specialise in literacy and numeracy tutoring for primary school children (Years K–6). Our lessons are curriculum-aligned to help build confidence and strengthen core skills.

Where are the lessons held?

All tutoring sessions take place at our welcoming studio in St Leonards. You can find us at Level 1, 558 Pacific Highway, St Leonards.

How much does each session cost?

Lessons are $120 per hour. We offer a 10% discount if you choose to book and pay for the full term upfront.

Do you offer a trial session?

Absolutely! We offer a half-price introductory session. If you choose to enrol and pay for the term upfront, the trial lesson cost is credited toward your fees.

Can you help with homework tasks?

Yes! We can incorporate homework support into our personalised sessions, ensuring your child understands the underlying concepts while gaining confidence in their independent work.

How long are tutoring sessions?

Lesson length is tailored to suit your child’s age and needs. A 1 hour session is recommended for students in Years 3–6, allowing time to work through concepts in depth, while 45-minute sessions are best suited for younger students in Kindergarten to Year 2 to maintain focus and engagement.

Can you communicate with my child’s school teacher?

Yes, we are happy to liaise with your child’s primary school teacher to ensure tutoring aligns with what they are learning in class. To make this easy, we can provide a simple form for you to share with your child’s teacher to gather relevant information about your child’s progress, goals, and classroom focus.

Do you provide progress updates?

Yes. After each lesson, parents are emailed a brief written report outlining what was covered, progress made, and next steps for your child’s learning.
